InfiRay Donated High-Resolution Temperature Measurement Thermal Cameras to Ten Universities
Recently, People's Daily reported in The 40 Updates on University Re-opening that the body temperature checking and screening was required in key areas including school gates, teaching buildings, labs, canteens, libraries, and dormitories. An fever screening thermal camera can work efficiently and quickly in a remote distance. This makes it a prior choice to guarantee safety in re-opened schools.
In the last few days, InfiRay has prepared and sent a batch of high-resolution fever screening thermal cameras to some universities in China to advance successful re-opening.
Currently, InfiRay® has reached agreements with 10 universities on the donation, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan University, Wuhan University of Technology, Shandong University, University of Science and Technology of China, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Xidian University, Changchun University of Science and Technology, and Harbin Engineering University. Donated devices have been delivered to these universities in succession.
Taking donations to related departments and education authorities in Yantai Economic and Development Area (YEDA), Shandong Province into account, InfiRay® has donated high-resolution fever screening thermal cameras worthy of over 5 million yuan.
Devices donated by InfiRay® include ATS300 Precise Body Temperature Measurement Thermal Camera and ITS300 Thermal Imaging Temperature Screening System. Both of them use infrared thermal cameras with 384×288 resolution cores. Compared with other infrared body temperature screening systems with a resolution of 160×120 or below, ATS300 and ITS300 provide more reliable data in a shorter time at a further distance. The high measurement speed and passage efficiency eliminate the risks of cross infection in crowded places like school gates and canteens.
In the fight against COVID-19, InfiRay® has been appointed by Chinese ministries and commissions (including MIIT) as one of the key enterprises that need to keep running so as to facilitate epidemic containment. Without taking any break during the Chinese Spring Festival, InfiRay® has delivered massive infrared temperature measurement thermal cameras and temperature measuring modules to the front line till now. ATS300 Precise Body Temperature Measurement Thermal Camera donated this time assures a measurement accuracy superior to ±0.3℃ without the blackbody, assisting the successful re-opening of universities.
