General Dual-Spectrum (Infrared/Visible Light) Video Data Set

Welcome to the General Dual-Spectrum (Infrared/Visible Light) Video Data Set in the Infrared Open-Source Database

Update date : 09/18/2021
A+ A A-

Expect for target detection and identification, there are many applications and research fields for infrared and visible light. Therefore, we have provided a general dual-spectrum video data set. The data set is collected using the IRay DTC300 (a product for human body temperature measurement) in real scenarios. The infrared detector resolution is 384×288, and the visible light resolution is 720P. Due to the large data volume, we set the visible light resolution to 698×524 during data collection. The data set provides infrared and visible-light videos in pairs. Each pair of infrared and visible-light videos are produced in the same scenario at the same time, but not in strict frame synchronization. The FOV of visible light videos is larger than that of infrared videos. Thus, the data set can be used for researches on algorithms such as dual-spectrum registration, dual spectrum fusion, dual-spectrum depth estimation, and target detection and tracking.

This is the first time we release a general dual-spectrum data set. In the future, we will continue to update the data collected using the DTC300, and use other devices in different resolutions and with different features to collect more valuable video data for all researchers. Please stay tuned to the open database website construction of IRay! In the meantime, please send us e-mails. Any advice, feedback, and even cooperation are welcome.
